It's been far too long since I completed a piece. Pen and ink was a favorite medium of mine in my younger years, but recently I've been re-inspired to pick up my dip pen after viewing the amazing work of Vania Zouravliov.

This ACEO depicts a hopeful soul beneath the boughs of a weeping willow tree, a traditional symbol of mourning seen on many a gravestone. In the background, a hooded psychopomp floats in a small vessel.

Thank you. Lately it has been very difficult to find the right time to create art. When I do find time, I have been tending to work more on jewelry. I'm not sure exactly why that is.
